American Heart Association CPR for Family and Friends

This entry level modular course offers instruction in one rescuer adult and child and/or infant Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the Heimlich Maneuver and emergency cardiac care. The intended audience is the general public, boys/girls clubs, parents, grandparents, babysitters and mass CPR training participants.

American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (HCP)

This course is designed to meet the needs of Healthcare professionals who respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Course content includes adult and pediatric CPR, management of FBAO, two rescuer CPR and barrier devises. Also use of an AED is now a core component. The intended audience is Licensed/Certified: Healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, EMTs, and other professionals whose job requires completion of a written evaluation and successful skills performance OR Non-licensed/Certified: Healthcare providers who support medical staff in areas of cardiac and respiratory emergencies, ie. Allied health professionals.

American Heart Association Heartsaver AED

A comprehensive program that teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The intended audience is firefighters, police, airline personnel, security guards, other lay rescuers, and those who may need to respond to a cardiac emergency.

American Safety and Health Institute Basic First Aid Course

Students are trained in controlling bleeding, bandaging, first aid care for fractures, dislocations, strains and sprains. Also included is first aid care for burns, poisoning, seizures, heat and cold emergencies, diabetic emergencies and other sudden illness.
